Heinz Hall for the Performing Arts hosts singer, B.E. Taylor’s Christmas Concert  where the faithful come year after year to feel the love of Christmas. B.E. Taylor transforms old favorites through bold interpretations to create new traditions that will live in the heart as long as Christmas is celebrated.
Each year, a band of brothers fills the silent nights of December with harmony, music and love.

Thursday, December 16th at 7:30 p.m.

The Heinz Hall for the Performing Arts, and The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra bring you Daniel Meyer, conductor; The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, and Betsy Burleigh, Director. The Highmark Holiday Pops features favorite carols and holiday music, complete with surprises and special guests. Celebrate the season with “Hallelujah” from Handel’s Messiah, “Silent Night”, “Joy to the World” and “Sleigh Ride”.

A Salute to America with Marvin and B.E. Taylor

This weekend only, stop by Heinz Hall to enjoy this Salute to America! Join in raising the flag with conductor, Marvin Hamlisch and well-known Western Pennsylvania native and musician, B.E. Taylor.

This Pittsburgh premiere presents classic American songs including “God Bless America,” “This Land is Your Land,” and “The Star Spangled Banner” along with Taylor’s original orchestration, a moving rendition of The Pledge of Allegiance. For more information visit the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

A Salute to America. From the 17th-20th come to Heinz Hall to raise the flag for a patriotic salute to America with Marvin and well-known Western Pennsylvania native and musician, B.E. Taylor. This Pittsburgh premiere presents classic American songs including “God Bless America,” “This Land is Your Land,” and “The Star Spangled Banner” along with Taylor’s original orchestration, a moving rendition of The Pledge of Allegiance. The Pittsburgh Orchestra.

Free Walking Tour. Friday, June 18th meet in PNC’s new Triangle Park at Fifth and Liberty Avenues for a FREE one-hour guided walking tour, compliments of the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation, which offers tours May through September with a different tour each month. In June, the Market Square Area Walking Tour is offered, focusing on the redevelopment of Market Square and it’s efforts to incorporate historic preservation, as well as “green” building principles.
