First-date? We’re great!

Posted on

Hey guys, the last thing you want to do on a first date is worry about the food, service, and overall flow of the night. Let us help you out with all three of those! Come to The Carlton Restaurant where you can enjoy first class service and a delicious, affordable menu. Also, we suggest you consider these 4 key dinner date tips:

  1. Give general info about your job and life. Don’t bombard them with gossip of your office or serious matters such as divorce or death.
  2. Make sure to keep the conversation flowing. Don’t go on for hours with every story you can think of and never interrupt your date.
  3. Movies, television, and music are great topics to discuss. Religion and politics may be a bit personal for a first date.
  4. As expected, be sure to look your best, be confident, and be generous. Opening doors and paying for the meal is also a winning recipe for a second date.

Join us for your first date and you can be sure to make it a memorable one!

MMMM… What Am I Eating?

Calamari is one of the most popular appetizers in restaurants across the world (including ours)! The word calamari comes from the Italians and refers to squid. The squid belongs to the class of sea animals known as the cephalopods. They can range in size from a few inches to several feet. The largest squid ever found and recorded was one that weighed over 1000 pounds. As a food source, it is very rich in selenium, vitamin B12 and riboflavin. This interesting and yummy offering is one that many people enjoy and we love to serve golden and crispy with homemade Tomato Basil and Parmesan.  YUMMY! Try some today!

Aunt and Uncles Day

Today is Aunt and Uncles Day! Truth be told, we weren’t raised by just our parents alone; there was plenty of outside influence along the way. Do you have a special pair of relatives in that of an aunt or uncle? Why not celebrate them for the significant impact they have had on your life? We’d love it if you joined us for this fun holiday celebrating all aunts and uncles out there. The more the merrier 🙂
