PNC Broadway Across America: Burn The Floor
Tuesday, December 28th 2010 through Sunday, January 2nd, 2011 at the Heinz Hall for the Performing Arts.

Burn The Floor will make you feel like you are live on stage. All the passion, the drama and the sizzling excitement of 20 gorgeous champion dancers, in a true theatrical experience is a performance with a grace and athleticism that The New York Times calls, “Dazzling!”
From Harlem’s hot nights at The Savoy, where dances such as the Lindy, Foxtrot and Charleston were born, to the Latin Quarter where the Cha-Cha, Rumba and Salsa steamed up the stage. Its ballroom dancing, reinvented.

Pittsburgh Start! Heart Walk

This Sunday, October 10th 2010, support the American Heart Association at Pittsburgh’s Start Heart Walk, at Heinz Field.

Registration at 8:30 a.m. Walk begins at 10:00 a.m.

Help the American Heart Association get America walking by supporting the 2010 Pittsburgh Start! Heart Walk. Heart Walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun family environment. It’s also the cornerstone event for the Start! physical activity initiative – a “hometown celebration” for those who have worked hard to embrace healthier lifestyles.

The Start! Heart Walk will create hope, inspire change and celebrate success for all participants who commit to fighting cardiovascular disease and stroke in their own lives. This year more than 1 million walkers will participate in some 450 events nationwide, raising funds to save lives from this country’s No. 1 and No. 3 killers – heart disease and stroke. Join us and help make a difference.
