Pennsylvania Governor’s Conference for Women
Thursday, October 14th, 2010 from 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center
The 7th annual Pennsylvania Governor’s Conference for Women, hosted by Governor Edward Rendell and the Pennsylvania Commission for Women,  features more than 75 nationally recognized speakers who will share their expertise on personal finance, career development, business and entrepreneurship, work-life balance, and much more. For the second year, the ReWork Career Fair, co-hosted by Tory Johnson, CEO of Women For Hire and workplace contributor on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” will feature free resume critiques, Mentor Match speed-mentoring and sessions designed to help attendees strengthen skill sets, land jobs and secure higher salaries.

Yo-Yo Ma in Recital
Saturday, October 16th 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at the Heinz Hall for the Performing Arts
Renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma returns to Heinz Hall for an evening of exceptional music-making. Arguably one of the most famous classical musicians, Yo- Yo Ma is also a best-selling classical recording artist with no fewer than 15 Grammy Awards to his name. Other esteemed awards include The Avery Fisher Prize and The National Medal of Arts.
