<p><a href="http://www.pghkids.org/" target="_blank">The Pittsburgh International Children’s Theater</a>, a division of the <a href="../announcements/1963/www.pgharts.org/" target="_blank">Pittsburgh Cultural Trust</a>, begins the 41st Family Series with <a href="http://www.theatreworksusa.org/" target="_blank">Theatreworks USA</a>’s revue of Fancy Nancy and Other Story Books!</p>
<p>Fancy Nancy and Other Story Books, performed by a five-member cast, is based off of six different best-selling children’s books. It is designed to incorporate various issues, ideas and themes related to growing up.</p>
<p>The books include: <em>Fancy Nancy, Duck for President, Babymouse: The Musical, I Have to Go!, Leonardo the Terrible Monster, </em>and <em>Pirates Don’t Change Diapers.</em></p>

BNY Mellon Jazz Presents JazzLive<br />
JazzLive is a free, year-round live jazz series taking place at The Cabaret at Theater Square, Backstage Bar, and Katz Plaza. Open to the public, this popular <a href="http://www.pgharts.org/art/katz.aspx" target="_blank">Pittsburgh Cultural Trust </a>music series showcases some of the region&#8217;s finest jazz musicians every Tuesday from 5pm &#8211; 11pm in the heart of the Cultural District.</p>
<p>In the summer, live jazz moves outdoors to Katz Plaza from 5pm &#8211; 7pm<br />
Dining and drinks are available at the Backstage Bar.</p>

Like all Howard Alan events, the Shadyside Art Festival is a juried show, which means each participating artist is hand-selected from hundreds of applicants to ensure a first-class festival with only the highest quality, original artwork. All of the work on display is available for purchase, and with prices ranging from $15 earrings to $50 prints to $20,000 sculptures, there is always something for everyone.
