Joe Barsotti Selections Wine Dinner – Nov. 11

Posted on

Join us Thursday, November 11 for a wine dinner featuring Joe Barsotti selections including two from another “Pittsburgher” who is following his dream of becoming a Napa Valley Winemaker – Nick Floulis!

Born in Pittsburgh, Nick attended Pittsburgh Culinary Institute and was a Manager at the Original Fish Market.  His family owns Zorba on Smithfield Street!  After a stint working at St. Supéry Winery, Nick is now producing a high-end Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon in Napa Valley under the label of Pushback!  Nick is considered one of the hot young winemakers in Napa Valley!  In addition to Nick’s delicious wines, we will be sampling a “93” rated Chardonnay from Robert Young and two delicious “organic” Zinfandels from Joe Barsotti’s impressive portfolio!  It will certainly be interesting hearing about Nick’s journey and the challenges he has faced in Napa to produce wines under his own label!
