Remember, you can always find more events on the Post-Gazette’s Event Calendar as well as the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership’s Calendar.

These are just a few of our favorites!

Discover the Real George Washington: Views from Mt. Vernon. Now until July 18th the Senator John Heinz History Center will serve as the premier venue on a nine-city national tour of Discover the Real George Washington: New Views from Mount Vernon. This exhibition features highlights from Mount Vernon’s world-class collection and provides a new perspective on Washington, his achievements and legacies, his family and times, and most importantly, his intellectual pursuits and entrepreneurial ventures.  For more information visit the Heinz History Center.

Time of My Life. You have until this Sunday, May 16th to catch Time of My life at O’Reilly Theatre. When the Strattons meet at their favorite restaurant, they are hoping for a good time. But for playwright Alan Ayckbourn, time is relative – and wildly funny. While parents Gerry and Laura reminisce in the present, son Glyn and his wife are viewed in the future, and son Adam and his girlfriend are seen from the past. Meanwhile, one actor works overtime as the entire restaurant staff. Ultimately, Ayckbourn’s sly comedy suggests that living in the moment is the best time of all. For more information visit Pittsburgh Public Theatre.

Pittsburgh Flea. Pittsburgh Flea in the Strip District will begin April 18th through November 14th. It will be open every Sunday rain or shine from 8 am to 3 pm. This is an Outdoor Flea. Be a Vendor or a Shopper. Enjoy yourself at the Flea.
