Our Italian theme continues on Friday, May 30 when Stan “the Wine Man” Lalic returns for his 39th “Best of Italy” Wine Dinner at The Carlton!
While Stan is also known for his work in the Piemonte region, he has assembled a number of World Class Winemakers from Southern Italy.
Taken together, the wines presented at this dinner have won a total of 40 “Tre Bicchieri Awards” (95-100 points) by Gambero Rosso, Italy’s most prestigious ratings guide.
Don’t miss this opportunity to taste wines from Elena Fucci, Basilicata, Palari from Sicily, Sardus Patter from Sardegna and Oasi Degli Angeli, whose Kurni was declared Italy’s greatest wine in 2010.
Stan has assembled a real blockbuster to finish the month of May! We hope you can join us. Click here to view the menu.

Please join us on Thursday, February 13 when we welcome Joe Barsotti for a special Pre-Valentine’s Day Wine Dinner featuring outstanding wines from the Iberian Peninsula!
Joe is a Pittsburgh guy that spent years toiling in the Wine industry working for others, before he listened to his entrepreneurial spirit and decided to try it on his own.
He had built up solid relationships in the industry but it was still a major risk – as many wineries are more comfortable having large companies represent them in Pennsylvania.
Today, Joe is President and CEO of a growing company that represents wineries from all over the world! Joe’s Pre-Valentine’s Day wine dinner shines a spotlight on the interesting and full bodied flavors from Spain and Portugal!
Wine education is a lifelong pursuit and you will be happy to taste these selections paired with Chef Simon’s creations! Call 412.391.4152 to make your reservations today! Click here to view the menu.
