Best of Italy “Tre Bicchieri Award Winners” Wine Dinner – May 30
Our Italian theme continues on Friday, May 30 when Stan “the Wine Man” Lalic returns for his 39th “Best of Italy” Wine Dinner at The Carlton!
While Stan is also known for his work in the Piemonte region, he has assembled a number of World Class Winemakers from Southern Italy.
Taken together, the wines presented at this dinner have won a total of 40 “Tre Bicchieri Awards” (95-100 points) by Gambero Rosso, Italy’s most prestigious ratings guide.
Don’t miss this opportunity to taste wines from Elena Fucci, Basilicata, Palari from Sicily, Sardus Patter from Sardegna and Oasi Degli Angeli, whose Kurni was declared Italy’s greatest wine in 2010.

If you cannot be in New Orleans, comparing and contrasting six Barolos and a white Nebbiolo while tasting Simon’s creations seems like the perfect way to spend “Fat Tuesday!”
This is Stan’s 38th Wine Dinner at The Carlton! Stan travels to Italy several times a year seeking out quality small producers and bringing their gems to this country.
