Many of you remember Fess Parker as the Texas born actor who played the TV roles of Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett in the 1950’s and 60’s. Parker dreamed of starting a family business that he could pass on to future generations and purchased a ranch in Santa Barbara.

With the help of acclaimed winemaker Jed Steele, Fess and his son Eli began producing wines. Today, Fess Parker Winery is producing award winning Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah.

Best of Italy Wine Dinner – Oct. 1

Join us on Friday, October 1, as we welcome back Stan “the Wine Man” Lalic to The Carlton as he presents his next “Best of Italy” Wine Dinner.  Stan has pulled out all the stops for his first dinner in our new digs!

All of the wines for this evening are Tre Bicchieri Award Winning Wines – comparable to a 95+ rated Wine in the United States!  Less than 1% of all Italian Wines rated ever receive this designation – so these are truly the best of “the best!”  Friday evening dinners with Stan are a tradition that we hope will continue at The Carlton for many years to come!
