ELDERTON ESTATE BAROSSA “ASHMEAD” “SINGLE VINEYARD” CABERNET SAUVIGNON’09 – The 2009 Ashmead Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from a single estate owned block that was planted prior to WWII. Deep garnet-purple colored, it offers lovely vanilla and spice notes over a core of black currants and blackberries with hints of pencil shavings and cedar. Medium to full bodied, it is both rich and nicely poised on the palate with a solid backbone of medium-firm fine grained tannins, crisp acid and a long and spicy finish.”………108.99
